At Paper Art Studio (PAS) we welcome everyone, from beginner to professional who is interested in creating artwork with traditional Japanese washi. PAS is led by Mr. Tsuguo Yanai, a Japanese artist with more than 30 years experience creating washi art. 
 
Let your creativity flow. We will provide full support while working on your art-piece and teach techniques how to implement your ideas into artwork. Yanai-san will share his extensive experience and provide assistance  to manifest your ideas into washi art. We believe there is no limitation to your creativity!
 
At our studio beginners will be surprised how easy one can create their artworks. For advanced students and those who are working for their own theme, we provide a technical guidance and advice. Projects can be two or three-dimensional.

You may also use our studio as your atelier or to collect and exchange materials and information related to washi, and meet other people who share love for the Japanese paper washi.
Everybody is welcomed to experience making artwork with washi.  We speak Japanese, English, and French.

A well known artist in the field, a Japanese artist Tsuguo Yanai has been creating art pieces using washi materials while expanding possibilities of creating art from washi, a traditional Japanese paper material. He has been extensively exhibiting in Japan and around the word for several decades.
